Ontario Trip

Ron and I had a wonderful trip to Ontario. First we met Ben and Amanda in Ottawa and spent a few days with them there. We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel and did alot of the touristy things....tour of Parliament, tried out different restaurants, ate Beaver Tails, and we even rented bikes a rode along the Rideau Canal. What a gorgeous city!

After saying a short good bye to the kids, we headed down to St.Thomas where we had the chance to spend time with Rons family. It was so good to connect with everyone again. We had a really good time with Rons parents. Mom was doing great...alot better than we expected.

We went fishing with Joe, spent time at Port Stanley and had Makkies fries, and went to a country fair.....which the guys loved! And of course, we ate out alot.

We spent the week with Rons family we headed back to Kingston to see Ben and Amanda again. Ben treated his Dad to a round of golf and Amanda treated me to a spa pedicure. As if that wasn't enough, they had us over for a very yummy dinner. We had such an awesome time with them.

We saw their new home and where they plan on spending the next few years. Even though it was hard to say good-bye, we're so proud of them both. We look forward to their visit in August.
