Discovery Bay Washington

After leaving Vancouver, we travelled with my brother Henry and his wife Gerrie to a resort in Discovery Bay. They have shares in it and they graciously invited us to spend the week with them. It was so beautiful there. It was a little chillier than I expected, so we all bought a warmer jacket there. The view from our deck was awesome! We were hoping to see an Orca or a Grey whale, but we weren't so lucky. We went on a few walks and a hike, we played a hilarious game of tennis, had a guide show us some of the creatures that he captured from the bay...I didn't know starfish felt so weird! Ron spent a lot of time studying for his Officers exam (he's writing it on Monday morning) at least the setting was beautiful. When he needed a break from studying Ron did most of the cooking....a gift that he's managed to withhold from me all these years! Best of all were the memories we have of enjoying each others company. Henry and Gerrie are family, but we sure count them as best of friends!
