Ron is officially a Lieutenant now. He passed the exam a year ago, so all this time he was sort of between ranks and would be an "acting" Lieutenant. Well, on Monday the "Brass" all came to firehall and gave a nice speech and congratulated Ron. He received stripes and bugles for his uniform and also got a new Lieutenant helmet. The yellow helmet is no more...from now on he'll always be wearing a red one. Way to go Ron! Your wife is pretty proud of you!!!

Ron, Henry and I want to add our congratulations to the others you've received! Firefighting is a demanding profession, physically, emotionally, psychologically. God has gifted you with the character qualities you need to be effective in your job. You use those gifts every day to help, encourage, and bless people (and put out fires!!)Way to go!!
