Friends

The other day we hooked up with our very dear friends, Ed and Janice. Our friendship started over 30 years ago, when we were just newlyweds. We shared many good times together as we raised our kids and became involved in various church activities. They moved away, our families changed and grew...we both had very busy lives. We saw each other occasionally, and never lost touch. When we met them the other day, it was like no time had passed as far as our friendship was concerned. The one thing that did change was, 20 years ago, the guys talked alot about dirt biking, now they want to dress up their "trophy" wives and hit the roads on touring bikes.....
We clicked like always, sat and chatted for almost 3 hours, and I'm sure we could have been there all night. What a gift to have such special friends in our lives.
